Paulina Rubio born as Paulina Rubio Dosamantes on June 17th, 1971 in Mexico City is a wonderful Mexican singer who became one of the top most female singers in Mexico earning the titles of 'The Golden Girl' and 'Latin Pop Princess'. Paulina Rubio received Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations.
Paulina Rubio was born to Mexican actress Susana Dosamantes. She has a younger brother named Enrique. Paulina lived most part of her life in Mexico, Los Angeles, and Spain. During her growing years, Paulina accompanied her actress-mother Susana Dosamantes to many countries on her mother's travels and spent time on the film sets and showed keen interest in films, acting, dancing, and singing. Finally at the age of seven, Paulina decided that she would become a singer and so moved in that direction. Paulina began learning singing, dancing, acting, and jazz at a performing arts school called El Centro de Capacitacion de Televisa in Mexico. Two years later, Paulina Rubio joined the band that was formed by students from the school.
At the age of eleven, Paulina Rubio has arrived on the music scene. On April 30th 1982 Paulina made her musical debut with a children's pop group, "Timbiriche", a band made up of seven kid-members. While playing with the band Timbiriche, Paulina Rubio made forays into acting and began appearing in telenovelas with Televista. While still high on the band Paulina decided to pursue a solo career and as such undertook phonetic studies along with jazz and singing in Los Angeles.
